As the interface between machine and material, the indenter must be of immaculate quality.
Therefore Mitutoyo only uses diamond indenters from the most experienced suppliers.
The indenters are calibrated in the highest standard calibration laboratories in the DAkkS accreditation body, accredited according to ISO 17025 and traceable to the PTB.
Constant development at our calibration partners secures an unmatched quality level.
Rockwell diamond indenter feature DAkkS calibration certificates according to DIN EN ISO 6508-2 and/or ASTM E18.
A function test, verifying the applicability of the indenter in regard of various indentation depth levels under different test forces, is optionally available.
Ball holders are made by Mitutoyo, and are supplied without calibration certificate for the included ball.
