Therefore Mitutoyo only uses diamond indenters from the most experienced suppliers.
The indenters are calibrated in the highest standard calibration laboratories in the DAkkS accreditation body, accredited according to ISO 17025 and traceable to the PTB.

Knoop diamond indenter feature DAkkS calibration certificates according to DIN EN ISO 4545-2 and/or ASTM E92.
The line of conjunction between opposite faces of the diamond pyramid are measured with the latest technologies.
The line appears due to the grinding process. The maximum length of the conjunction line is 1.0µm.
