Separators with damping are made for stopping of one or more accumulated workpiece carriers at a defined stop surface of the workpiece carrier in conveyor systems.They are mainly used where the transport speed is in the middle or high range or when the transported workpieces are sensitive to shocks. Because of the damped stopping of the workpiece carrier, the entire conveyor system is prevented from damage and wear. The electrically controlled separators from ASUTEC are available in many different versions. On the one hand, with a motorized drive and integrated evaluation electronics or, on the other hand, with an electrically controlled single-stroke control magnet.
